Tuesdays storm finally tapered off at about 4 in the afternoon when the sun peeked through and turned this place into a winter wonderland. Jason and I got a quick snowshoe in right at sunset. These photos are from a little jaunt just minutes from the house, what they don't convey is the gentle scent of sage that kept wafting past my nose, even through all that snow in the dead of winter.

I love your pictures too! Even if I haven't been writing comments very frequently, I still check pretty frequently to check your new pics. It is pretty incredible where you live, very different from where I am :)
