Tribe Talk (not really)

I started this post because I wanted to talk about the Indians (Cleveland's baseball team not the people I serve daily), but it really turned into random thoughts on a Friday night. I was going to have some ill comments on Joe Borowski's choke job against the Yankees yesterday afternoon. If you missed it and probably everyone who reads this missed it (except for maybe Rob M. - Columbus OH) the Indians gave up a four run lead with two outs in the ninth inning with the previously mentioned Borowski pitching (It was especially a burn because it was A-Rod and the Yankees). However as I was writing Joe just went 1-2-3 in the bottom of the ninth with a one run lead against Tampa Bay to *totally redeem himself* of my ill comments (I have a short memory).

**With respect to the bold print above what movie does this quote come from "Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!"
Hint: Moped
First response wins a cookie (gluten free of course), payable the next time we see you

By the way thanks to Shari M.-Phoenix AZ (one of my sisters friends) for the delicous salsa recipe, Tricia and I just finished fiesta friday night (I just made that up we really don't call it that) with fresh salsa, quesadillas and margaritas.

And now to the pictures......

Ryan enjoying his favorite spot to listen to baseball on the radio (obviously not staged)
(For any Navajo police looking at this, that's non-alchoholic)

Anybody thinking Veggie Tales....looks like their mulling ove a fallen comrade
(On a further note they were delicous in the above mentioned salsa)

We're nerds, look at the size of that bird book. By the way I like how we tell people that we don't let the dog inside.

All right I'm tired, this blogging thing is more work than you think.

Blog Stats:
Pictures: 3
Random Thoughts: 2-3
Hammock time today: 34 minutes
Indians Record to date: 7-6

Stayed tuned for more questions and prizes. (I know your on the edge of your seat)

Adios (Remember it's fiesta friday night)

Ryan

i appreciate how Ryan takes some of the credit by saying "we're nerds" in regards to that bird book. The book is actually out, on the coffee table, not on the shelf, because I, in fact, was sitting there reading it shortly before he took the picture of me and Cowboy on the couch.

also, i don't know about all that Tribe talk. i guess it caters to our diverse audience of blog readers, though.

The movie quote is from "Dumb and Dumber". I expect my cookie promptly when greeting Tricia at the airport Tuesday. I am requesting that my cookie have extra gluten in it.

As far as Joe Borowski goes, he is 7 for 7 in saves this year as of this post. I allow all Indians pitchers 1 bad inning per season before I decide to hate them. So basically, every game from this point on is just another game closer to me hating Joe Borowski.

Are you not allowed to drink beer in your own house? Can I request a blog entry on the topic of alcohol or has that already been done before? Patty, thanks for the link to your blog, I bookmarked it! Hi Ryan!!! Anne
