Mo and Flo's Debut

Some of you out there (sorry, Cleveland, for your 20 inches of snow the other day) aren't fully into spring. And everyone, it seems, has been experiencing drastic changes in weather from day to day, ourselves included as it has been somewhat colder than we were expecting for this time of year. Though, we really can't complain too much for all the sunshine that we get. After this, it'll be hard to move anywhere else that has less sunshine than here.

Whether it feels like spring yet or not, springtime brings up images of flowers, pastel colors, and cute animals like bunny rabbits. Well, flamingos aren't really associated with spring, but they are kinda cute and they are pink. So debuts our Adventures of Maurice and Florence, more affectionately known as Flamingo Mo and Flamingo Flo. We keep getting these photos in the mail (e-mail, of course - Flamingos these days are apparently very tech savvy) of all the places they've been going and things they're seeing.

Their adventures began with the new year. Mo, as Father Time, says goodbye to 2006 and Flo greets 2007 as Baby New Year:

They were eager to cross four states off their list all at once, so they headed to Four Corners Monument. Flo, in four states at once (she did her best with only two legs):

Mo, proud Arizona resident:Used to more temperate climates, but eager to see snow, they ventured out on a ski trip to Durango in February before all the snow melted:
