Love this boy!

I just picked all the bell peppers out of the garden and they were sitting in a bowl on the counter. 

This boy just grabbed one little green one and started eating it like an apple, and he's still going! 


Oh yeah...and on the food front, I've had liver in the freezer, because I know it's a good source of protein and nutrients for pregnancy; and it was free from the family ranch; so I've been meaning to embark on the liver adventure. I've never cooked or eaten it but was open minded that it might not be so bad despite most people's aversion to it. 

Well...I'm not so sure anymore. I carmelized some delicious onions to go with it and managed to eat a decent amount by burying them in mashed potatoes and onions, but I must admit I was just about gagging on every other bite.  It's just, um, "fickery" as Marlin would say.  It's his made up word for things that taste, well...I don't know, because he made it up...but liver is definitely fickery. 

I was feeling less than excited about the dinner I had put on the table once I took a bite, but a few bites in Marlin said "thanks for cooking, mama!" And then proceeded to eat quite a bit of the liver.  

...I keep trying to pawn off the leftovers on him, but he's not really having it the second time around, haha!

I agree liver is fickery... Must be like someone being finicky with food?
