Fun with bubble wrap

This is now a couple weeks old, but I've been having trouble getting video to load correctly with my blogging app. Silly technology. (the first time I tried to type "silly technology" it auto-corrected to "Ally technology"- oh, the irony.)

Marlin is a lot of fun these days.  He's babbling in more complete, but incomprehensible thoughts.  Ryan's favorite game right now is to make up something that sounds kinda like what he tried to say, even if it's completely out of context and entirely silly.

In other developmental updates, about a month ago I was eagerly awaiting a bottom front tooth to finally cut through, as his teething symptoms seemed to be dragging on.  It finally did a week or so ago, and a few days I later I discovered FOUR MOLARS that had been hiding out in the back of his mouth!  I was stunned!  Surprised that I had not even realized they were there, and surprised that molars might even come this young.  It's probably nothing out of the ordinary, I just had no idea!

And he's getting more stubborn.  He's really starting to throw mild tantrums if he doesn't get to keep exploring something new that he's not allowed to play with, or if we have to go inside when he hasn't gotten a chance to finish exploring everything new outside.  I'm starting to have to really discipline more, which is an interesting but important challenge at this age.

Overall though, I'm feeling especially thankful these last few days for this beautiful, easy-going, happy son of ours!
