Today Marlin is six weeks old and it's hard to believe how fast he is growing and changing. He is starting to get chubbier and getting more strength in his arms and legs. I can also see the difference in his eyesight. He can follow objects and seems to fix on things better. He is also smiling more and more. I still doesn't quite seem deliberate...like he'll smile because he's pooping. (well maybe that's deliberate!)

Today also marks our seventh anniversary. Hard to believe that it's already been seven years, but I am thankful every day for my wonderful husband...especially now as we begin this journey of parenthood together.

Marlin's a cute little bean! Brian's favorite thing with Carter was to prop Carter up on the couch - he looked like a salty old man at the time. Now he's motoring all over the place and looks more like a little boy than a baby! :) hope you guys had a great anniversary. Give the kiddo a squeeze!
Happy Anniversary! I remember your wedding well - it's amazing it's 7 years ago. So happy for you, that you found each other, and now that you are there for each other as you do this parenting journey. Marlin is just beautiful - really filling out, as you say. Don't you just love those smiles once they start? There's NOTHING like a smiling baby! I can see both of you in his face. What a cutie. So glad you keep us updated with your blog.
