Not Monument Valley

We just got back from a couple hours of exploring near Round Rock, a tiny community a little ways north of here. From the highway we drive frequently, you can see several large buttes and we decided to take the dirt road that heads back towards them and beyond to explore.

There were quite a few cattle out and about basking in the sun.

It's been a few weeks since the snow fell, and the freeze thaw cycle has formed a layer of Frosted Flakes on top:

The doggies were loving it once we found an area near Gigante Butte that was free of cattle and we could just let them run:
