Is this my budding farmer? Is that cabbage or a squash of some sort, Or did you get a facelift?

it is called a Blue Hubbard squash. I thought I had planted mere zucchini, but apparently the bag of old seeds i had gotten from the New Dawn (seed/plant) program in Chinle were in fact these funny looking warty squashes. I think i got anxious and picked this one a little too soon, but hopefully it will still provide the sweet orange flesh that it's supposed to have on the inside. i will let you know what happens after it "cures" and i bust it open.
