Summer in Tsaile

here's our pretty yard. (many many thanks to people that lived here before us!!!)

here's our pretty blue fence that we painted. We were inspired by a little snippet of a picture with a rustic blue fence against an adobe wall.

and here it is from the inside, where I painted one wall

morning window light(see before of fence here)

there's some horses outside our yard, perusing the weeds for anything, something to eat, please. (by the way, there's now a garden in that whole corner of the yard, which i somehow do not have any pictures of yet)

and the dogs, very interested!

some russian sage, a glimpse of the many sunflowers smiling on our surroundings, and i thought a sneaky hummingbird snuck in my picture (can you find him?), but i think it's just a leaf. although we currently have some hummingbirds doing battle over a new feeder I made out of a plastic bottle and hummus container.

well...it's a beautiful time of year here in Tsaile, but we're off to Ohio. First Columbus for a quick visit with friends, then to Cleveland town. I get to hang out with my friend, Maureen that lives across the world, my sis who's coming over from Chi-town, and my lovely parents, of course. I will also get a chance to find out what my fellow classmates of the SHHS Class of '99 are up to (since i haven't joined Facebook yet).
