Saturday at home

News of the day (in a bullet list of course!)

• Patricia and I biked the slickrock behind our house this morning, is was brisk (low 30s) but the sun was gloriously shining!
  
• My friend Jim loaned me his full suspension mountain bike so I've been enjoying riding over obstacles that I normally wouldn't even try....that means I'm due for a sweet wreck any day now. (just kidding mom)
  
• I realized I like listening to rap music while biking, otherwise not really a fan
• Took the Jeep to the Chuskas (mountains by Tsaile, AZ) for an afternoon of snowshoeing.

Yeah my belt is undone, and I'm not quite sure why?

• Returned home, Patricia made a casserole, by far my favorite type of meal.
  
• My favorite two cookbooks we have are by Maryana Vollstedt, I think they're titled "The big book of casseroles" and "the big book of soups and stews". I highly recommended both if you like that kind of thing. In fact she has a website; she even has a whole book on meatloaf!!
• For those baseball fans (as you all know I am), MLB network is replaying Kens Burns Baseball Documentary on Tuesday nights, definitely good stuff.
  
• All right I have a picture and a weblink, definitely qualifies as an official blog in my book, I'm going to bed.
