The other weekend we were gone for an extended visit to Tennessee; a little "retreat" in the Smoky Mountains, you could say. A St. Patty's Day, March Madness, reunion weekend with OSU and Michigan friends. Let's just say, there was definitely some Irish-style celebrating, there was definitely a bit of madness, and always a fun time with our Ohio/Michigan friends!Last weekend we were off to the Durango, CO area. It's fast turning to spring, but we were able to sell a couple remaining ski tickets, as we didn't feel like skiing in the slush. We also checked out an opportunity for Ryan to buy an Optometry practice about 17 miles from Durango. A beautiful setting and location in relation to all the awesome outdoor activities in the area, a great opportunity for Ryan as far as owning a private practice, and potential for me in its proximity to Durango, a fast-developing and environmentally-minded population for the most part. But...pretty far from family; and still considering all our options!

As for daily life in Kayenta, we're loving it still, especially with the newly arrived spring weather and growth. Check out these photos I took of Ryan and Melanie tearing it up on the red rock by our house. Due to a minor elbow injury, I took the opportunity to document a typical evening bike ride.

Great pictures as always Tricia. If the design thing doesn't work out you could always go into photography. Missy and I have framed and hung several of the photos we took from our visit to Arizona. We are both looking forward to you visiting. It's too bad Ryan could not come with you. Keep up your blog as Missy and I both enjoy reading about what you and Ryan have been up to. See you soon.
