Snow? In Arizona? Yes.

Most people seem to think that all of Arizona is like Phoenix-hot all the time. Not true. Here, we're at almost 6000 ft. and have had snow several times. Here's some snow from a week or two ago:
But now it's already feeling like spring again. Not to rub it in to those in perhaps less desirable climates, but it's nearly mid-sixties right now, getting up to 70 in the next week or so. I won't be so excited about the warm weather come June when its over 100, though.
On the weather topic, we have been enjoying winter and taking advantage of ample snow in the San Juan mountains of Southwestern Colorado. We've taken a few ski trips to Durango's Purgatory Ski Resort, and just last weekend we went to Telluride to experience what's often considered the Alps of the US. Here's some photos from Durango (if only I had had my camera on the slopes at Telluride...):
