My niece is staying with us this weekend while her parents went across the state for a soccer tournament. Besides Marlin loving all the attention and enjoying having a "sleepover," we've been having lots of fun adventures too.
Friday, we went to the Game, Fish and Parks "Outdoor campus", but explored the indoor exhibits since it was raining.

Then Abby babysat while Ryan and I went out on the town for date night! It's been fun to explore a little of Rapid's nightlife and discover a cool bar we hadn't been to yet.
Saturday we made eggs and waffles then set out on the bike path for a cross town adventure!
First stop, the brand new Strider trail just for the kiddos! Marlin LOVED it!
Then opening day of the farmer's market! Then we rode past the nearly completed new park area by the civic center on our way to Armadillo's to see what the flavor of the day was!🍦 Cherry! Yum!
Then we rode back home for a rest before... Bowling and pizza!!! Marlin's first time bowling:
This kid size bowling shoes were pretty darn cute!
Today brought more rain, but we headed out to the land anyway and enjoyed the drizzle. (I was glad too see that Todd had tarped over the floor where they're going to pour the concrete. He had already put down a vapor barrier and the insulation, so it would have been quite a pool of water in there otherwise!)
