The foundation for the garage is done. As you can see (or can't see the dirt down in there), there needs to be quite a bit of fill added, and it will be close on whether we'll have enough from what was excavated.
Also, the rough-in on the below-slab plumbing was being done.
We've had quite a bit of rain the last couple days. Thankful for the moisture-this surrounding forest needs it bad! But the progress the last two days has been hampered slightly. The rest of the panels were delivered, and the windows are coming soon-all a little sooner than the builder's ready for but I guess that's better than waiting on them!
Going back out tomorrow to see any new progress.
And here's Marlin on site:
And a few other random Marlin pics:
He found some lipstick and put it on.(who knows where/how he even found that-have any of you ever even seen me wear lipstick?!)

I wonder if some of the fill might be those rock and small boulders that rolled down the hill !! Too bad it can't be filled with the plentiful downed trees in the forest from the spring storm.
Where is that fun train???
Mom-is that you? It shows you posting as me; I'm guessing I didn't log out of my google account on your iPad.
The train was near Thunderhead falls, a couple miles west of falling rock rd, found it when we went on a Sunday drive.
