We are going to Los Angeles. In fact we leave Saturday. Ryan has an optometry conference all of next week, and I get to go! I have been once to LA for about a day, and all I remember is Universal Studios. And I guess it must have been Venice Beach, because I remember people roller blading down the boardwalk, or whatever they call it, wearing short shorts and skimpy tops, and looking very, well, very California.
So, I've got a week to hang out in LA, and I have no idea what to do, where to go, what to see. Help! Obviously there is a lot to do and see, I just haven't figured out what those things are yet. Any suggestions you have are welcome here!
I'm looking forward to finding some delicious gluten free restaurants. Maybe checking out an Angels game with Ryan and optometry friends. Maybe I should go see a TV show taping?!
What else?! I need ideas!
I am not, however, looking forward to this:
so any suggestions that involve public transport and/or are not too far from Fullerton, where the conference is (which is unfortunately rather far out of town), are of course preferred!

Hi Megan! Sorry I've been neglectful with the blog, but I'm finally catching up, so check out the pictures. By the way, if you were there over the weekend before the 20th, we must have just missed each other. We were there until Friday, the 16th, with the possibility of staying in LA through the weekend, but headed onward to come home. Shoot!
