We pulled out of town Friday evening with our loaded down Jeep, and our Buick parked full of more stuff and covered with a lovely brown tarp at Melanie's place, waiting for our return in the fall. We got part way Friday night before stopping off to set up the tent under a full moon, then finished the long haul the rest of the way Saturday.
We came out to the Scarborough ranch Sunday. That evening, a thunderstorm came out too. I went out with the camera and was on a mission to capture the elusive lightening bolt. Here's some pictures I took. Click on any of the photos to link to the whole album.

Well, I better go, because this afternoon we're having the "Century Farm Celebration," celebrating 100 years for the Scarborough ranch in the same family.
