Time just keeps on slippin'....

Islippin', slippin' ...into the future.

Last time I posted, we weren't even yet to the winter equinox, and here we are now at the vernal equinox...with a nearly 4 year old and a 5 month old!  In fact, I had a blog post in my head entitled
"3 1/2 [months/years/decades]" that was celebrating -plus or minus- everyone's age in our family coinciding near the end of January.

There's something we all say when we watch young children.  Before you become a parent - and even if you never do - you know it to be true.  You become a first time parent and it blows you away.  Then you become a parent of two - when you think you've learned a lot - and it becomes truer than ever.

They. Grow. So. Fast.

Just look at those growth charts - that steep curve.  Leave for a couple days and they are quite literally bigger, ever so slightly more mature looking, on to a new skill/thought/level of imagination!  Don't forget to pull out the "too big" clothes still packed away - if you're not careful they'll grow right out of them before they've had a chance to wear them.
