We went again earlier this week, with Ashleigh and Marlin's friend, Jorja! He didn't seem quite as excited to be in the water, but he was tired and hungry.

Marling and Jorja getting ready to go to Chinle!
Yesterday we went down to Chinle again for a weekly playgroup. We wore our green for St. Patrick's Day and with his red hair, he could have been a little leprechaun! As his hair fills in, we see that he really is quite the carrot top! It's kinda fun having unexpected surprises like that... We kinda thought we were guaranteed to have blonde-hair, blue-eyed kids. You can see in the pool pictures what a carrot top he is.
Now we are headed south to Tucson! In our nearly 6 years in Arizona, we've never made it that far south...but we're excited to explore a new city that sounds like one we'll love. Mickie and Randy are also there this weekend, so we're planning to do some biking, and Aunt Mickie has already offered to babysit! There's a lot going on this weekend and though we're planning to be there for four days, it is sure to be too short. We're hoping the weather will stay nice not only because we plan to do a lot outside, but we're also planning to camp! Marlin's first camping trip, and were hoping he doesn't cry all night long.
-------
Wrote that last night, and I probably shouldn't have written that last sentence. It was a beautiful night for camping, and he fell asleep great, but then he woke up and kept camp up most of that night...alas, we shall try again tonight.

Sounds like you are having fun in Tucson, if you need a pit stop on the way back home out house isn't far off track...just saying :) We live about 5 miles east of 1-10 if you take the queen creek rd exit just before you hit tempe.
Hey Amber! Thanks so much for the offer, but we went more direct, through Globe, Showlow and up. How is life in the big city?! Next time we're in Phoenix, we may have to take you up on the offer!
