I have a lot of catching up to do. Since I last posted, we had one final weekend of local backcountry snow adventures when Melanie and Sam came down from Kayenta to join us on another snowshoe/ski outing in the Chuskas. Then last week, we were off to warmer climes.
We had a really great and relaxing week in Mexico with lots of great friends at some lovely bungalows in a small little quiet town towards the end of Baja! And it seems this whole week has been a bit blurry due to vacation recovery/withdrawal. We were glad to fly back into sunny Phoenix where the temperatures were about equal to what we had in Mexico, thereby avoiding the shock of a return to winter. And even up on returning to home, it was clear that the tides had turned in favor of Spring while we were gone (I'm trying to ignore the snow that is falling as I type).
While I plan to share more details and photos, for now I'm going to leave you with just one highlight:
We resurrected some cobwebby and rusty bikes with flat tires from behind the garage and took a fun cruise down the beach.
