Attack of the Birds; easing back in

Allright it's been a long time since I participated in the blog so here goes.

How about those seagulls in Cleveland! First we had the midges(or some bug) in the 2007 playoffs, now the birds have moved into Jacobs(aka annoying commercial insurance company field). Check this link out. I guess maybe the birds have come in to eat the bugs, what comes next to eat the birds???? (Cause that could be real nuisance) The Indians season has so far been a disappointment, at least this has some entertainment value!?

It finally nice to have a relaxing Saturday morning in Tsaile. We've been gone a lot to say the least, (something like 11 out of the last 12 weekends). However Patricia kicked it up another notch this morning. I've been sick all week and she had come down with a cold the last two days but that didn't stop her from getting up at 4:30 this AM, driving to Gallup (90 minutes) and completing a sprint triatholon (15 lengths of the pool, 12 mile bike, and 5K run) . It makes me dizzy just thinking about it in my current state (which is sitting here in my pajamas drinking coffee at 10:30AM, an hour after a got up). Way to go!!! Congrats to Julie to who also rocked it.

Anyway writing that last paragraph made me feel like I should get up do something at least a little productive. I'm sure Patricia will have a much better report than I.

A few quick thoughts...
-I'm super psyched over the Pittsburgh Penguins win last night in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals, that was great entertainment.
-I'm excited to get back on my mountain bike after being sick all week.
-We're back to traveling the next few weekends. Telluride Bluegrass festival next weekend, Washington D.C. for conference after that, then Silverton, CO for the fourth of July. I'm absolutely not doing anything after that for the next few weekends in July!?
