I have a bone to pick. And when I take issue with something it's only the most important topics. In this case it regards the Fox network commercials promoting the upcoming American league baseball playoffs.... As most of you know I sort of like the Cleveland Indians, and if you've followed the playoffs you know what joy I've experienced this last week with my favorite team beating the NY Yankees. Next up is the Boston Red Sox, which aren't a much different team except for maybe the accent of their fanbase . My beef lies with the the Fox promotions touting the Indians as baseballs "Cinderella" team going up against the amazing Josh Beckett. First of all the Indians tied for the best record in all of baseball this year(hardly Cinderella) and second of all Josh Beckett will be pitching against this years soon to be Cy Young winner in C.C. Sabatathia. Unbelievable, no respect, that's about as bad as Lebron proudly wearing a Yankees cap at the Jake(I've always been suspect of him!). I'd rather watch the Frank TV commercials than that rubbish. I officially have a chip on my shoulder and I'll use that when I'm watching the upcoming playoff series!

Go Tribe (Team Awesome), make your wildest dreams come true
(Oh yeah we've settled in our new home in Chinle, Arizona... summer of Scarborough is officially over, more to come!)

Scarborough I agree. Actually about 1 week before the playoffs, they were advertising and the advertisement showed the Yankees, Sox, Angels, Tigers, and Mets. Pretty funny that the Indians weren't in there and the Tigers and Mets didn't make it. The Rockies weren't in the promo either.
Personally, I just found out today through an email from Ana that the Indians were playing the Red Sox. However, I was very aware that last night Germany played Ireland in soccer. I also know that the world rugby championship is going on in France right now.
But as a not very big sports fan all around, I still stick to what I know best. Go Cleveland!
As a fan of the Indians I am constantly outraged at the disproportionate amount of coverage every other team seems to get through out the season. No team gets less respect than the Indians. CC will probably get screwed and finish third this year even though he carried the starting rotation (of the best team in baseball) on his back all year. The Indians are leading the series 3 games to 1 as of the posting of this comment. Go Tribe!
On a side note. Kelly Pavlik may have broken the disappointing string (or curse)of runners up from the State of Ohio. Did his fight get much coverage in Arizona? This is good for both the Indians and Buckeyes (number 1 in the country as of last Sunday) as the state of Ohio finally has a champion.
The comment about CC finishing 3rd refers to Cy Young Voting.
