1Day of Alaska/Canada Trip = 13
2Days since "Summer of Scarboroughs" begin = 48 (starting from my last day of work)
3Days Camping/Hiking in Bear Country without being eaten = 9
4Importance of #3 on 1-10 scale = infinity
5Miles traveled from Rapid City SD = 2912
6Most expensive gas along the way = 1.39/liter (Canada eh!) = (4.87/gallon) -ouch-
7Hot Springs visited = 2 (must go to Liard Hot Springs!)
8Number of times seeing acutal wildife = too many to count**
9Number of times mistaken a big rock for wildlife = too many to count
10Number of cracks in new windshield = 1 (doh!)
11Number of naked teenagers seen jumping into Chena River while riding on the kiddy train around Pioneer Park in Fairbanks = 1
12 Pounds of crab eaten at all you can eat dinner last night = 1lb too much, but it was delicous!
12Cleveland Indians record of date = 65-53
13 Pictures taken so far =242 and counting

Once again, as I write from my couch, surrounded by Urban Planning notes, I am very very jealous. Although not so much about hiking and sleeping in bear country, that is definitely not on my list of things to do in life.
where are you guys now? are you driving all the way back from Alaska to NM? thanks for sharing pretty pictures.
