Also, you all know that we lost Cowboy to someone who must have needed him more...and no, there's still been no sign of him. However, the other day, I was walking down the street towards home and a little dog came out of nowhere jumping on me and wanting some attention. He followed me home and has been hanging around ever since. You give them just a little attention and they stick around. Then they stick around, and of course you have to feed them...He looks like a smaller, darker version of our neighbor's dog, named Obie, so we started calling him mini Obie, ie Moby. Our neighbors, not knowing yet that's what we were calling him, thought the same thing and also called him Moby! I guess that's meant to be his name.
Well, given our homeless summer travels, we don't plan to keep him yet, but there's a chance our neighbors will keep an eye on him and feed him until we return to Arizona in September. (He's still no Cowboy, but we'd happily take him in if it works out.) Otherwise, we might be taking him to a shelter...unless of course any of you want to adopt a very cute, very friendly little puppy!

Patty, I am a little jealous, not only of your sunsets, but that I can't advertise puppies on my blog... I guess I could offer the location of some sometimes good piles of old furniture that people in my neighborhood put out on the curb. I have not stopped one of my favorite past-times just because I have moved to a different country.
