here's a short hike we took through a canyon along Cottonwood Rd. in Escalante:

this one shows all the amazing different geology of Escalante. The pointy rock in the background is called Mollie's Nipple. The big smooth, yellowish rock is called Yellow Rock (not as interesting name as the first, eh?):

and here's Bryce Canyon while it was still kind of snowing up there at 8,000 ft.
